MAKAMID Polyamide 6
MAKAMID Polyamide 6 is available with
different viscosity values. The
following products can be used in
injection moulding and extrusion,
high-viscosity polyamides can also
be used in rotation moulding.
Polyamide modification with improved
UV-stability is also available. For
faster moulding cycles and thus
higher efficiency, polyamides with
higher crystallinity are produced.

MAKAMID
Polyamid 6 impact modified is
available in various modifications.
Depending on their application they
vary from dry impact resistant for
immediate recycling after injection
moulding to high-impact to achieve
sufficient toughness at low
temperatures.

MAKAMID
Polyamide 6 lubricated grades
There are various modifications of
MAKAMID Polyamide 6 with low
sliding friction available.
It is preferably used for production
of bearing bushings, side bearers or
chain links. The composition and
quantity of the lubricant package could be modified on
customer request according the application. With this we
provide much better possibilities to adjust our products for
the requested purpose.

MAKAMID Polyamide 6 glass fibre reinforced
Glass-fibre reinforced MAKAMID
Polyamide 6 has significantly
better mechanical properties
compared to non-reinforced types.
Its rigidity, dimensional stability
and heat resistance are as well
higher. Glass fibre content from 10
to 50% is available. Only glass
fibres with chemical coupling are
used due to their better mechanical
properties.

MAKAMID Polyamide 6 glass bead filled
In
comparison with non-reinforced PA6,
glass-bead filled MAKAMID
Polyamide 6 has better mechanical
properties. Another advantage is
more uniform mould shrinkage
compared with glass fibre reinforced
polyamide. Therefore, it enables
production of details with fine
surfaces and only a slight
distortion.

6 carbon fibre reinforced
MAKAMID
Polyamide 6 reinforced with carbon
fibres is a material for specific
application. In comparison to
similar reinforced types, it has
significantly higher rigidity while
its density is low. Very good
antifriction properties. Its
conductive properties are also
different. Carbon polyamide products
are antistatic what means they show
an amazing electric conductivity, as
for plastic.

MAKAMID Polyamide 6

impact modified
MAKAMID Polyamide 6 reinforced
with glass fibres or mineral and
high-impact modified is suitable for
application where the moulded
details should be assembled
immediately after moulding. Glass
fibre reinforced and impact-modified
polyamides have perfect rigidity and
improved impact resistance.
Besides, these materials have better
damping resistance and show better
bending strength than the types
reinforced only with glass fibres.
Moreover, the mineral-filled and
high impact types of this polyamide
can be chrome-plated.
